Exclusive First Look: Warehouse Spring Summer 14 Press Preview Dublin06 February 2014
If the recent not so Spring / Summer weather has got you day dreaming of hotter climates, and less layers then look no further. The Warehouse S/S 14 press preview showcased their take on everything from modern monochrome to vibrant colours and prints.
My favourite thing about Warehouse's take on this season's key trends is the wear-ability factor.
'Precision' is probably my favourite Warehouse trend for the Summer season, a mix of modern sportswear and minimalism - 'sharp cuts with a sportswear influence... scuba feel fabric .... white trousers ... asymmetrical hemlines .... textured whites'.
Of course in close second is the dazzling neon filled trend 'Botanic Acid' - 'high voltage fluro block colours, softened by fluid fabrics and digital floral prints'. With so much white on offer for SS14 it's exciting to see vibrant colour & print, especially in the gorgeous light weight fabrics Warehouse have chosen.
Again, I see Warehouse have made good use of 'two piece' outfits, notably the palm tree print trousers and t shirt, working perfectly together as a jumpsuit or as two separates. I really love this concept, and as someone who attempts to mix & match my wardrobe I can only imagine the endless styling opportunities...
What's your favourite piece from the collection? Mine's a close tie between the white leather biker jacket & palm tree print two piece.
