White Minimal Zara Heels26 July 2013
Like everyone other girl on the planet I'm in love with Zara heels. I think they have the best 'ladylike' low heels, avoiding over complicating their designs with excessive embellishment. A low minimal heel can pull a whole outfit together, in my eyes the best way to wear these heels is by pairing them up with more 'street wear' type looks. Think leather, mom jeans and over sized jerseys as dresses. Click below for more.
I probably am a little biased as I believe that Rihanna can do no wrong, but DAYUMM can this lady rock the low heel. Here's a few examples of how it should be done which I lifted from Rihanna's instagram account @badgalriri.
I literally can't decide on a favourite look. But Rihanna's style is exactly what I aim for when wearing my own Zara heels.
These are probably my favourite from the three pairs I picked up in the sale. I paid €29.99 for them, so only a €10 reduction. Bearing in mind I was going to pay about €60 for a River Island pair, I'm okay with this. I think these shoes could be paired with just about anything. I'm going to give them their first outing this Saturday, check my instagram to see how I wore them.
TECHNICALLY these are not a low heel, however I picked them up because I loved the fact they were higher and chunkier than the previous ones, without looking like pole dancer's heels. They had to be bought. I paid €39.99 for them.
I paid €29.99 for these bad boys and I'm glad I did. Even though they're metallic I still think they look elegant rather than crazy tacky. I picked these up instead of the holographic heels (very similar to the pair Rihanna wore) which I passed up due to them being ridiculously uncomfortable. These shoes are definitely a pair I could wear comfortably during the day. I want to pick up a similar closed toe style in black for the winter.
Which are your favourite pair? And have you picked up much in the Zara sale?
