Coast A/W12 Press Preview Dublin13 September 2012
Click below to get a sneak peek at the amazing party wear pieces coming to Coast for the A/W season. Image heavy post, couldn't help myself far too many sequined pieces not to share!
I was delighted to attend the Dublin A/W preview for Coast, big thank you to Sinéad, Katie and the rest of their team for the invite & making me feel so welcome!
The preview was held in Newman House, a beautiful Georgian town house – which was certainly fitting for the heavily embellished and opulent pieces Coast chose to display. Upon being guided through the collection, I was pleasantly surprised at just how timeless and wearable all the pieces were. Coast has designed dresses in a multitude of styles, meaning no matter your age or body shape there will certainly be something for you.
I fell in love with all of the heavily sequined and feathered pieces. They look as if they have come straight from a Couture collection. I was shocked at just how reasonable the pricing was for such premium quality clothing. I found it impressive that Coast have created heavily embellished separates, meaning you get more for your money. By working an embellished jacket or sequined skirt into your everyday wardrobe you will certainly get your value for money, whilst also being able to pair them together for a stunning party look.
Coast has recently been worn by the likes of Fearne Cotton, Laura Whitmore, Lydia Bright and Alesha Dixon to name but a few. And it’s no wonder with pieces which have used a timeless approach when taking inspiration from current trends.
Here are two of my favourite dresses
Amazing deep purple sequined gown with cut out back. A show stopping pieces that will not date.
This dress is clearly a nod to the Baroque trend. Dress it up for night with heels & a clutch, or play it down for day wear with black tights and a jumper.
